Humvee attacked with IED in Ramadi
A video was released Sunday by the Mujahedeen Shura Council showing an attack on an American forces Humvee in the Iraqi city of Ramadi with an improvised explosive device (IED). There have been no statements from US officials regarding casualties from this attack.
The video also shows an obviously inflammatory action intended for the camera, when an insurgent wipes his sneaker on a tattered emblem of an American flag on what appears to be vehicle parts from the aftermath of the IED. The Mujahedeen Shura Council is the insurgency group which claimed responsibility for the June 16th abduction and killing of two American soldiers, Pfc. Thomas Tucker and Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, south of Baghdad.
